The Moorings will debut their newest power cat, the Moorings 433PC, at their flagship base in the British Virgin Islands in November. As with their other powercats, the 433 is built by Robertson & Caine, and designed specifically for the charter market.
The new hull provides 27% more interior room than the earlier Moorings 393PC, and enjoys better performance as well as more efficient fuel consumption. The BVI boats will be the three-stateroom version, with the starboard hull dedicated entirely to a master suite with a private head and shower forward, while the port hull will have two double cabins, each also ensuite with shower.
Other significant changes include a forward saloon door to the foredeck and to provide a breeze through the cabin at anchor, solar panels as well as a 9kW generator, and a stereo system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The bridge will have a cushioned sunpad forward and a full outdoor kitchen with grill and wetbar.
"Time at sea is best enjoyed with others, so we focused on creating a yacht that really brings that social aspect of chartering to life," said Josie Tucci, GM of The Moorings. The 433PC will debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boatshow in November, and a four stateroom version, the 434PC, will be available in Thailand in January 2016.
