Bareboaters Rejoice! Cooper Island Open Again!

The popular Cooper Island Beach Club in the British Virgin Islands is now officially open for the season.  The club, which rebuilt and reopened during the summer after the devastating hurricanes of last year, is now officially reopened, including the boutique hotel.

More important to bareboaters, however, is the outstanding restaurant with its deck, a micro-brewery, and its famous rum bar that has one of the world's largest collections of cane spirits.  Aside from its array of rums from across the West Indies, it has the famed Black Tot, the last of the British Royal Naval Rums.  The restaurant is serving lunch and dinner, while the Coffee Box cafe is open daily from 8-4:30.  Great anchorage offshore, too.
